We are seeking a professional Security Officer with a strong background in both corporate and educational settings. The successful candidate will be confident in computer use, deliver outstanding customer service, and provide flexible support across multiple London locations for holiday cover, sickness, and additional business needs.Information:Position: Security Response OfficerLocation: Various Sites Across London Pay Rate: Site Related Pay Hours: Average 24 hours per week Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends Job Requirements:SIA Licence RequiredStrong customer service skills gained in corporate and/or education environments.Confident computer user with good technical ability in Microsoft Word and Excel.Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).Excellent written and spoken English.Professional, approachable and confident communicator.Physically fit and able to carry out patrols and stand or walk for extended periods.Flexible and reliable, with the ability to increase hours when required.First Aid qualification and/or CCTV Licence (desirable).Full five-year checkable work history.Full driving licence (advantageous).Job Responsibilities: Provide a professional, friendly and reassuring security presence across various London sites.Act as the first point of contact for staff, students, visitors and contractors, delivering outstanding customer service.Manage access control systems and ensure authorised entry only.Conduct regular internal and external patrols to maintain safety, security and compliance.Assist with building opening and closing procedures when required.Respond to incidents, emergencies and escalations in a calm, professional and timely manner.Complete accurate and timely incident reports, daily logs and handover notes.Support events, activities and operational needs across different sites.Work collaboratively with facilities teams, safeguarding leads and management to ensure a safe environment.Use Microsoft Word and Excel confidently for reports, checklists and data input.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
