Red Hall Primary wishes to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced, enthusiastic, caring and motivated Caretaker to work under the direction of our school Office Manager and Head teacher.

We are looking for someone who:
andnbsp;
Can maintain our school facilities to the highest possible standard and has experience of maintenance and repairs/handyperson duties both indoors and outdoors.
Has experience of cleaning duties and can work alongside a team of cleaning staff
Is reliable and will take pride in the appearance and maintenance of our school premises.
Is committed to keeping our school community safe.
Enjoys working as part of a dedicated and effective team.
Can prioritise jobs to ensure safety is key.
Can engage well with children and form good relationships with them when around school.
Can be proactive when dealing with tasks.andnbsp;

The post is 30 hours per week including school holidays, working a andlsquo;split shiftandrsquo; 6am-9am and 2.30pm-5.30pm, however hours can be flexible subject to the needs of the school.

Duties will include daily, weekly and monthly statutory checks (fire alarm, legionella, emergency lighting etc.) painting and decoration, plumbing, minor repairs and other maintenance tasks including cleaning of the school and upkeep of the school grounds.
