This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Domestic Abuse Charity in Lowestoft. We believe in a person-centred, trauma-informed approach and the involvement of individuals in all aspects of their support. This includes providing Advice and guidance, education programmes, and Trauma Therapy which is delivered by qualified therapists.
Established more than 40 years ago for the relief of emotional distress and suffering and the preservation and protection of the mental and physical health of those who are, or who have been exposed to domestic violence and abuse.
We aim to advance the education of the public, organisations and agencies in all aspects of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and wider society.
Job role:
1. Support and deliver the Service
2. Network with other services in the area to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse, as well as promote our service
3. Manage Finance and Grant Applications
4. Manage staff and maintain the highest standards of service provision
5. Implement Strategy for new projects
Essential Person Requirements:
a. Experience of face-to-face customer service in training, care, or employment advice/support.
b. Experience of using digital technology to manage performance and client data
c. Experience of managing programmes and staff
Desirable:
Knowledge of Domestic Abuse Services
