Crynodeb
GR Employment Ltd is looking for a Class 1 driver to work for one of our clients based in Bridgwater, Woodlands Business Park area.
This is a temporary position for the peak period; however, for the right candidate, it could lead to a permanent placement.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
- Digital tachograph and CPC cards
- Have a minimum of 12 months of experience for Class 1
- Be professional at all times
- Have a flexible approach to work
- No INI10, TT99 or DR10
Shifts available:
Sunday to Thursday - start 7:00 AM, finish 5:00 PM (max)
Other days start time 10:30 AM, finish 7:30 PM (hours can be discussed)
Collections & Deliveries
Pay rate:
£16.36 per hour - rising to £19.08 after 12 weeks
Overtime £24.54 - rising to £27.26 after 12 weeks
Job responsibilities:
Collections & Deliveries
Executing bulk collections and deliveries from our nationwide network of depots and major customers with utmost precision and efficiency.
Adhering strictly to time-critical deadlines and predetermined collection schedules.
Maintaining the highest standards of service delivery to uphold our reputation for excellence.
Meticulously maintaining accurate records and journey details in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participating in loading and unloading operations as required, ensuring cargo integrity and safety protocols are followed.
Job qualifications:
Must hold a valid UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
Have a minimum of 12 months of experience for Class 1
For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years
