Key Duties
Once signed off as competent by a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Pre-placement medicals
Drug testing for pre-placement
Driver medical checks (BP, height, weight, urinalysis)
Vision testing
Audiometry and spirometry
Recording results and ensuring accuracy
Interacting with employees, visitors, and managers professionally
Supporting the wider Occupational Health team with reasonable management requests
All work is carried out under the supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty, who will review medical results before certificates or reports are issued.
What We're Looking For
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management and the ability to prioritise
Excellent attention to detail
Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A flexible, professional, and patient-focused approach
Confidentiality is essential within Occupational Health, and you'll be required to adhere to GDPR and company confidentiality procedures.
