Legal Secretary / Executive Assistant

Location: Manchester City Centre (with Hybrid Working)
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience

This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative, niche legal firm specialising exclusively in representing clients who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Our firm is built on a forward-thinking strategy that prioritises rehabilitation, care, and support, working collaboratively with healthcare providers and the third sector.

The role:

As a Legal Secretary and Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Managing Director and Senior Solicitors.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support the Managing Director and Senior Solicitors.
• Manage and prepare legal documents, client records and correspondence.
• Communicate with solicitors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone remains informed.
• Assisting on client case files.
• Act as the first point of contact for new clients.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and related logistics.
• Support client accounting and billing processes.
• Office Management and Business Management support.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Personal/Executive Assistant within a similar professional sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Professional, approachable manner and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A genuine interest in client welfare and delivering exceptional service.

Desirable but not required:

• Previous experience in personal injury or clinical negligence law .
• Experience of Legal Practice/Case Management systems..
