This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in business administration and customer service within a fast-paced, professional environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day logistics operations, communicating with clients, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments.

As part of this apprenticeship, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification, setting you up for a successful career in logistics, operations, or business support.


Key Responsibilities



Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries regarding domestic and international freight forwarding.




Manage customer bookings and quotations for air, ocean, and road shipments.




Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and carrier teams to ensure on-time deliveries.




Track and monitor shipments, providing accurate updates to customers.




Prepare and process essential documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork).




Handle service issues, claims, and billing queries professionally and efficiently.




Support credit requests and assist with invoice clarification.




Maintain accurate customer and shipment records on internal systems.




Build strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service and clear communication.




Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.




Assist with general administrative tasks to support wider business operations.




What We’re Looking For

Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data or documents.




Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).




A positive attitude, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.




Entry Requirements



GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.




Previous experience in an office or customer-facing environment is beneficial but not essential.




Training & Development
You’ll complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, combining on-the-job learning with structured study time.
Throughout the programme, you’ll develop essential business, communication, and organisational skills that are highly valued across all industries.

Upon completion, you’ll be well-positioned for career progression into roles such as Customer Service Executive, Logistics Coordinator, Office Administrator, or Operations Assistant.
