Our client, a respected educational institution in Nailsea, Somerset, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teacher to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse needs, fostering a positive learning environment that promotes growth and development.
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the unique needs of students with SEMH challenges
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create personalised learning plans and strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching approaches as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in SEMH education
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and emotional well-being
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in SEMH education
- Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with SEMH needs

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £168.80 to £261.00 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The school is located in the charming town of Nailsea, Somerset, which provides a welcoming community atmosphere and easy access to the beautiful surrounding countryside.
