Summary

The Best Connection are working with our Stockton on Tees based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) DAY SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation. 

There are on going as well as ad hoc shifts available.

The role:

• Starting at the Stockton hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers
• Start times are approximately 06:00
• There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
• The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
• All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
• Achieving delivery slots
• Using website-based delivery scheduling
• Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork

The candidate:

• C+E (Class One) Licence
• In date CPC and DIGI Card
• Experience using extendable "skelly" trailers
• Experience using "Mirror Cam" Trucks

Rewards:

• £14.42 per hour (PAYE) first hours Monday to Friday
• £21.63 per hour after 8 hours / all Saturday
• £28.84 per hour Sunday / Bank Holiday
