Job Title: Fire Extinguisher Technician
Location: Kent & East Sussex (home-based start)
Starting Salary: £27,500
About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our clients team. You'll be responsible for the annual maintenance of fire extinguishers, conducting site assessments, and producing clear engineer reports, ensuring our clients' safety standards are met to the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform annual maintenance on fire extinguishers.
- Conduct site assessments and record accurate client information.
- Produce concise engineer reports
- Manage a monthly schedule of approximately 60 jobs, flexibility to plan your own months work
- Cover Kent and East Sussex, with most work within the same region.
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 (approx. 40 hours
- Start from home at 07:30 and finish upon completion of the daily route.
- Company van provided, along with fuel card and phone.
- Opportunity to plan your own monthly workload.
Requirements:
- BAFE Standards certification. Full training for this can be provided
- Mechanically minded with a customer-friendly approach.
- Engineering background is a plus.
