Our education client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Student Cases & Engagement Administrator to provide vital administrative support within their Student Cases Team.
About the RoleIn this varied role, you will support the effective management of student cases including misconduct, appeals, disciplinary matters, complaints and specific requests ensuring timely progression and adherence to regulations.
You will also play a key role in monitoring student engagement, coordinating Extenuating Circumstances processes, and supporting key Committees and Boards.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide specialist advice and guidance on student processes and regulations.

Coordinate extenuating circumstances, appeals, unfair practice, disciplinary and complaints processes for students.

Support student engagement and academic progress monitoring.

Analyse data to identify trends and prepare reports.

Liaise with staff, students and external bodies to maintain strong working relationships.

Support and/or act as Secretary for Committees, including preparing agendas, minutes and documentation.

Assist with adjustments and support for students with disabilities.

Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes.
Essential:
-
Strong administrative experience with excellent customer service skills.
-
Ability to learn and apply specialist regulations and processes.
-
Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex information clearly.

Problem-solving ability, initiative and attention to detail.
-
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines independently.
Desirable:
-
Experience in Education or a similar environment.
-
Knowledge of student cases, extenuating circumstances or monitoring processes.
-
Ability to use MS Access.
- Welsh language skills (or willingness to learn).
This is an ongoing temporary role which requires an immediate start and is based onsite at our client's Cardiff (CF10) office paying up to £14.63 per hour.
