The States of Guernsey are looking for a Moving and Handling Advisor to join the HSC Learning and Quality Improvement Team .
The key purpose of this role is to lead and promote a safe moving and handling culture utilising highly developed specialised knowledge covering a range of practices, to support and guide moving and handling delivery, to reduce the risk to staff and patients/service users.
The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing development of moving and handling practices, including policy and practice development. The post holder will lead on the design, development, and evaluation of moving and handling training. They will work proactively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure the safe and effective implementation of moving and handling techniques and promote a culture of safe working practices across Health and Social Care.
