Help shape the future of cricket’s workforce in Warwickshire!
As our Cricket Employability Senior Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting newly qualified coaches as they take their first steps into volunteering and paid work within cricket and the wider sports sector. You’ll design and deliver impactful training, mentor young adults aged 18–25, and remove the barriers that prevent them from accessing opportunities all while helping us build a skilled, confident and diverse coaching workforce.
Working closely with colleagues across the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation, schools, clubs and community partners, you’ll guide coach development from every angle: training, placements, progression, evaluation and welfare. This is a hands-on role where your coaching knowledge, communication skills and passion for helping young people will make a meaningful difference.
If you have experience in the following, we’d love to hear from you:
• Community or club-level coaching experience
• Experience working with 18–25 year olds, particularly around progression or employability
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
