Front of House Refurbishment Trainer - Prezzo Italian

Reports to: Operations Director
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum plus £5.500 per annum car allowance, Bonus and Perks!
Contract: Circa 6 months FTC
Location: Field-based with regular nationwide travel to restaurants across the UK

Travel: Essential – must be able to travel nationwide to support refurbishments and openings

As a Front of House Refurbishment Trainer at Prezzo Italian, you’ll bring our refurbished restaurants to life, training teams nationwide what great service really looks like. No two days are the same — you’ll be hands-on, coaching, inspiring, and celebrating teams from pre-opening prep to launch nights. This role is fast-paced, hands on and full of variety, with extensive nationwide travel, some long periods away from home, including weekends and evenings, giving you the chance to see the real impact of your training as teams grow, shine, and deliver the genuine, joyful hospitality that makes Prezzo Italian special. This role would suit somebody who is Duty Manager level or above with high energy, who is super positive and may be someone with limited experience who can flourish.

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Restaurant Readiness: Prepare restaurants ahead of refurbishments and reopening’s, ensuring all FOH operations, systems, and standards are ready for launch.
  • Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging, practical training sessions that develop skills, confidence, and consistency across front-of-house teams.
  • Team Upskilling: Support existing team members to refresh their knowledge, improve service standards, and embrace new ways of working.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Support GM on induction and training of new team members, embedding Prezzo’s hospitality values and brand standards from day one.
  • Operational Support: Provide hands-on support during key sessions — including VIP nights, opening nights, and early service periods post-refit.
  • Post-Refit Follow-Up: Revisit sites after reopening to provide coaching, feedback, and additional support where needed.

· Collaboration- working with Operations Director, Regional Managers and General Managers

  • Consistency: Champion Prezzo Italian’s culture, values, and service standards across all locations you support.

Experience & Skills

· No experience in a training role is required as confidence is key.

· Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, service standards, and guest experience principles

· Confident communicator

· Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple training programmes simultaneously

· Passionate about hospitality, people development, and delivering service with heart

· A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the restaurant estate

Performance Measures (KPIs)

  • Training Impact: Measurable improvement in service standards and guest satisfaction post-training
  • Restaurant Readiness: Refurbishment sites prepared on time and fully operational for reopening
  • Team Development: Increased confidence, engagement, and retention among trained teams
  • Operational Excellence: Delivery of consistent FOH standards across reopened sites
  • Feedback: Positive feedback from Operations Directors, General Managers, and team members
  • Post-Refit Performance: Strong opening and early trading results following refurbishments
