Care assistant role and responsibilities
Every client is different, so there’s plenty of variety, but your Care Assistant role may include the following:
- Spending time with clients
- Going on trips or accompanying clients to appointments
- Assisting with personal care
- Providing support with medication
- Helping with housework
- Preparing meals
- Going shopping with or for clients
Whatever our Care Assistants are doing, they’re dedicated to providing excellent and warm-hearted care. In turn, our Care Assistants know that they’re working for a company that knows them personally and values the fantastic work they do.
Ideal skill set:
We welcome people who are new to care as well as experienced Care Assistants. We’re looking for kind, caring people who share our ethos and values. You’ll need to be able to engage well with people and to be reliable and trustworthy.
Please note that access to reliable transport is required. Employment is subject to a successful enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
