The Role:
Are you looking for your next challenge that involves working with our specialist partners to deliver housing and property management in line with MTVH standards? If yes, this is the role for you.
At MTVH, we believe everyone should have a home and the chance to live well. We provide around 60,000 homes and in some areas of service delivery we work in collaboration with specialist partners to provide positive outcomes for our customers.
The agency contract management team works with 50+ specialised and supported housing providers in London and Midlands and East Anglia. Our agents deliver housing and property management on behalf of MTHV.
The team negotiate terms and manages the relationship with our agents through housing management contracts or lease agreements. As an Agency Contracts Specialist, you will lead on the relationship with agents, and other stakeholders, and monitor the delivery and effectiveness of the service in your patch to assess risks and ensure the customers are receiving a high standard of housing services.
As part of a monitoring programme, you will monitor performance to ensure all contractual responsibilities are fulfilled within the agreed budget. You will receive and scrutinise reports, carry out site visits, and liaise between our agents and MTVH departments, teams and contractors to ensure compliance and smooth service delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of monitoring and managing contracts and ensuring compliance will be a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of housing and compliance relevant legislations, policy frameworks, and the commissioning landscape.
- Experience of negotiation to achieve business benefits or strong commercial results will be a plus.
- Ability to understand, interpret and explain complex information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work alone, manage own workload and to work to deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience of stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Excellent IT literacy.
You will be someone who works collaboratively at all levels to solve problems, develop solutions and deliver positive outcomes.You will have the drive and energy and is prepared to find new and better ways of doing things. An ability to present complex data simply and to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders. You are confident to make decisions under challenging circumstances while balancing risk to deliver better approaches and services. Likewise, results-orientated and a positive ‘can-do’ approach.
Regular days working in the office are crucial, alongside the flexibility to work from home. The role also requires that you regularly visit properties, therefore, you are required to have access to a car with insurance for business use.
