Crynodeb
The Business Engagement Partner plays a pivotal role in driving non-SFC growth and client satisfaction by identifying, developing, selling and managing non-SFC income courses within their specialist area(s). Working collaboratively with internal academic teams and external stakeholders, the role combines business development with operational coordination to ensure the successful delivery of commercial contracts and training solutions.

Qualifications and Experience
• Essential:
o Diploma or similar qualification at SCQF Level 8 or above or extensive experience in a similar role
o Proven experience and/or current working knowledge of specialist area(s)
o Proven experience of working within a sales or business development environment
o Design and development of business services or solutions that meet client needs
o Experience of contract negotiation
o Experience in designing, developing and presenting proposals and tenders
o Experience of effective CRM activity
o Experience of external partnership working
• Desirable:
o Project management qualification
o Management qualification
o Sales qualification
o Qualification in specialist area(s)
o Experience of business income generation within an FE, HE or consultancy environment
o Experience of working out with FE in an industry setting
o Experience of account management of clients
o Experience of working to income and performance targets
o Experience of costing and pricing of contracts/projects
o Experience of budget management, achieving financial targets and effective use of resources
o Experience of opening up new markets and territories
