Summary
Role: HSE Lead
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Nottinghamshire Health Care Contract
Mitie are seeking an experienced a Health & Safety professional that has potentially worked on small projects in the Construction sector, to join our Technical Facilities Management team supporting one of the largest mental health and community Trusts in the East Midlands.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a healthcare environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, compliance, and operational excellence of our facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects and operations adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
Main Duties:
-Project Supervision: Lead and deliver small-scale projects from planning through execution.
- Implement and manage all HSE policies, processes, and systems within the project.
-Ensure HSE systems meet the operational needs of the project.
-Maintain up-to-date COSHH assessments and risk assessments.
-Review and create Risk and Method Statements.
-Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and company Health & Safety policies.
-Attend and facilitate on-site health and safety meetings and presentations.
-Report accidents and incidents in accordance with legal and company procedures.
-Quality Assurance: Review and verify paperwork and service standards completed by the team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
