The Role
As a Service Charge Analyst, you will play a key role in managing and analysing service charge data, ensuring compliance with housing regulations and financial standards. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyse service charge budgets and actuals.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in service charge calculations and allocations.
Liaise with internal teams, housing officers, and finance colleagues to resolve queries.
Provide clear explanations of service charges to residents and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and support statutory reporting requirements.
Use financial systems and spreadsheets to input, extract, and analyse data.
Contribute to process improvements within the Service Charge Team.
Candidate Requirements
Experience in finance, housing, or service charge administration.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in IT systems, including spreadsheets and financial software.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly.
Ability to manage workload effectively in a busy environment.
Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
