Job Description:
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking a Production Welder (MIG) to join our client’s manufacturing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role focuses exclusively on MIG welding for production work, no TIG or fabrication skills are required. The position offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on production parts according to specifications.
Follow work instructions and maintain quality standards.
Inspect and check welds for quality throughout production.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe and tidy workspace.
Collaborate with the production team to meet output targets.
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
Experience in MIG welding within a production environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
Able to follow instructions and work consistently to standards.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
No TIG or fabrication experience required.
Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:15 PM
