Intro:
Due to the current needs of the service at this time we will need to look at a locum who has safeguarding but also stronger Children with Disabilities experience and knowledge moving forward and are available within a week or two if possible.
To work with disabled children and their families, assessing their need for social care services and providing
support to those identified as Children in Need; those who are subject to Child Protection plans; those who are subject to Care Proceedings; those who are Children We Care For and Leaving Care.
Looking for an all rounder candidate with experience in at least a few of these teams: Child Protection, Children in Care, Children in Need, assessment and some court work)

Experience working with Disabled Children desirable

Provide professional assessments, intervention, and support to vulnerable individuals and families.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes.
Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with UK legislation and local policies.
Essential Requirements:
Degree/Masters in Social Work and SWE registration.
2+ years of post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of UK social care legislation and practice.
