SECURITY OFFICER
Salary: £12.63 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full time, 42 hours per week, 4 nights on 4 nights off shift pattern between 21:00 and 09:00.
Location: Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, OX3 7LD
We are looking to recruit a Security Officer to join our friendly team to ensure site security services are to a high standard within our Health contract based at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
Responsibilities:
Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the building interior, exterior, and perimeter, and continuously monitor security cameras.
Access Control: Manage security access, fobs, and ensure all buildings and gates are securely locked and unlocked as scheduled.
Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact for any emergency situation, coordinating the necessary response and managing fire detection and alarm systems.
Deterrence & Prevention:Actively work to deter and detect vandalism, unauthorised entry, and suspicious objects/postal packages.
Front Desk & Support: Man the front desk during out-of-hours, carry out and record daily key checks, and assist with tasks like emptying car park pay machines.
Essential:
Hold a current SIA & CCTV licence
Must be willing to undergo extended security clearance.
Good communication skills
IT literate
Customer focused approach
Able to work on own initiative
