Crynodeb
An opportunity has arisen for Band 7 MSK Physiotherapist, this position will be for 12 Months to cover Maternity leave. The successful candidate will deliver a wide variety of clinical work within the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service in the community clinic setting. This includes working with patients who have a variety of complex needs, e.g.:
• Orthopaedic Post-op patients
• Degenerative Conditions
• Chronic Pain
• Self-referral patient
Secondment will be considered
Assess and treat own caseload of patients who have complex presentations and maintain own records as an autonomous practitioner
Review patients on a 1:1 basis as well as deliver therapy and education in class settings.
To lead assessment, liaison and decision making processes for patients.
To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard, using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practical experience.
To support the Band 8a in the planning, co-ordination and evaluation of the MSK Physiotherapy Service on a day-to-day basis, and to cover for any other area with this specific caseload as necessary.
