Summary

Service Administrator Trafford

The Service:

The Trafford Emotional Health and Wellbeing (EHWB) Service supports children and young people across Trafford, ages 5 – 13 years to grow up with healthy minds, feel confident and resilient and fulfil their potential. As part of the THRIVE ‘Getting Help' model Barnardo's provides therapeutic group work, one to one, and counselling support in the community.

We are looking for people who are passionate about children's and Young People's emotional health and wellbeing and improving outcomes for children and young people.
The Role:

· Working days: Monday to Friday

· Working hours: 29

· Office base: Benchill, Wythenshawe

· You may need to work in the early evening on some days of the week.

There will be an emphasis on:
Managing a busy administrative workload using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Liaising with parents, carers, schools, and referring professionals throughout treatment episodes.
Handling safeguarding issues with proper escalation in line with policy.
Maintaining high standards of record keeping and engaging in regular supervision and training.
Accurate record-keeping and data management, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
Successful candidates must:
Have a strong ability to prioritise tasks and work proactively.
Have a caring and approachable manner and an ability to build positive working relationships.
Have a clear understanding of confidentiality practices.
Demonstrate experience in managing and monitoring income and expenditure.
Demonstrate data management and report formulation skills.
Be willing and able to travel regionally for meetings and training.
Although this contract is fixed term until end of October 2026, there may be potential to extend subject to funding.
