Key Responsibilities:

- Promote and ensure the effectiveness of company HSE and operational directives, maintaining staff competencies and necessary training.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and improve plant performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant personnel, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Coordinate forward planning with the Weighbridge Operator & Site Manager regarding incoming materials.
- Manage site maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper functioning and upkeep of plant equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate a preventive maintenance programme.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, productivity, and improvement initiatives.

What You Bring:

- Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or similar role in a manufacturing, recycling, or processing environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing small to mid-sized teams.
- Solid understanding of production processes, preferably in metal recycling, granulation, or related industries.
- Ability to work hands-on and adapt in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial equipment is a plus.

This role offers a salary between £50,000 & £60,000 depending on experience

Ideal candidates will reside within a commutable distance and reside in the Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Ashby de la Zouch, Burton on Trent, Coalville areas
