A well-established company is looking for a reliable, experienced Transport Manager to oversee transport operations across Nottinghamshire. If you are a CPC-qualified transport professional with strong knowledge of O’Licence compliance, fleet management and transport legislation, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
This role plays a key part in ensuring logistics run safely, efficiently and in line with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day transport function across Nottinghamshire, ensuring smooth and compliant service delivery
- Maintain full compliance with O’Licence obligations, transport regulations and internal standards
- Oversee fleet maintenance, inspections, servicing and scheduling to guarantee full legal compliance
- Work alongside financial teams on budgeting, forecasting and monthly PandL reporting
- Collaborate with regulatory organisations such as HSE and Transport Ministry
- Recruit, train and manage the transport team, including performance reviews and disciplinary processes
- Attend operational meetings and act as deputy for the General Manager when required
- Champion continuous improvement, reviewing current processes and identifying operational efficiencies
