What skills and experience we're looking for
Penryn Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning across a range of classes, including Year 1, a mixed Year 3/4 class, and Year 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive school environment where your contribution will directly impact pupil success.
The position is for 30 hours per week, term time plus two INSET days on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils’ learning and development in Year 1, mixed Year 3/4, and Year 5 classes
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs
• Help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Support with classroom management and organisation
• Contribute to the overall wellbeing and progress of pupils in line with school policies
