What skills and experience we're looking for

As Hayle Academy continues to grow and thrive, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. Delivering to KS3 and KS4, the successful applicant will be a motivated and positive team player with a determination to ensure all students succeed regardless of barriers. They will win hearts and minds, and inspire, enthuse and motivate staff and students alike.

This is an exciting time at Hayle Academy as we work collaboratively to embed our digital transformation strategy, giving teachers and students the very best digital tools available to enhance teaching and learning. Teaching and Learning is at the heart of our school; the successful applicant will need to have a passion to continue to deliver great learning opportunities to our students, to continue to develop this aspect in their own practice and to share within their faculty. As a problem-solving school, we work closely with the Cornwall Maths Hub and the Nrich programme.
