Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a full time Welfare Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all learners and apprentices, supporting the college- wide Safeguarding and Prevent strategies.
Key responsibilities for this role include: maintaining an accurate and comprehensive safeguarding log, working collaboratively as part of the Safeguarding team, delivering a front-line service to support learner wellbeing, and providing appropriate signposting and referrals where necessary.

Suitable candidates will hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including Maths and English, and hold a Level 3 qualification. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of safeguarding principles and mental health awareness, or have successfully completed relevant training in these areas.
