Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal to our continued success, as you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive warm, professional service from the moment they arrive. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities


Welcome guests warmly and assist with enquiries in a polite and professional manner.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest experience.
Provide menus and explain daily specials, catering to guests’ dietary requirements and preferences.
Take food and drink orders accurately and liaise effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
Handle payments and process transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area to a high standard.
Assist with event setups and support colleagues during busy periods.
Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting Lighthouse Hotel Management’s values and goals.


Qualifications & Skills


Previous experience in a front of house or customer-facing role within catering & hospitality is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Flexible availability including weekends and evenings.
Basic numeracy skills and confidence handling cash and card payments.
A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
