Maintenance Engineer - UK Leading Manufacturer Location: LiverpoolHours: Nights (10pm - 6am)Salary: £44,000 - £46,000About the RoleWorking for a UK leading manufacturer you will be working for a as part of a small, dedicated engineering maintenance team, providing essential support to production, working closely with team leaders and the QA department. Your responsibilities will include:Performing TPM activities (electrical and mechanical) when production allowsResponding swiftly to breakdowns and fault-findingDriving continuous improvement to enhance production performance and maintain quality standardsCollaborating across departments to reduce downtime and improve efficiencyKey ResponsibilitiesConduct reactive and preventative maintenanceCarry out visual inspections throughout the facilitySupport projects, including electrical installation of new equipmentEnsure compliance with HSE standardsYour Skills ">Electrically biased with solid mechanical knowledge (disassembly, pneumatics, hydraulics)Strong understanding of electrical systems: motors, AC/DC drives, relays, sensors, pressure switchesAbility to read and interpret electrical schematicsKnowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and I/O interpretationCity ">Computer literate with good communication skillsFlexible and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a teamDesirableForklift and overhead crane experience (training provided)Equipment You’ll Work WithGlass cutting and edge-working machines (including CNC)Glass tempering furnaces and heat soak kilnsDouble glazing manufacturing linesGlass lamination ovensGlass drilling machines and vacuum lifting equipment
