Job Description: Spray Painter (Temporary Position)Position Overview-We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join a reputable company on a temporary basis, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, and spray-painting surfaces to a high-quality finish, ensuring all work meets company standards and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Surface preparation: sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming materials before painting.
- Spray-painting: applying paint, varnish, or coatings using spray equipment to achieve a smooth, even finish.
- Quality control: inspecting finished work to ensure accuracy, durability, and compliance with specifications.
- Equipment maintenance: cleaning and maintaining spray guns, compressors, and other tools.
- Health & safety compliance: following all workplace safety procedures, including use of PPE and proper ventilation.
- Collaboration: working closely with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines and production targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a spray painter in automotive, industrial, or manufacturing settings.
- Knowledge of different paints, coatings, and application techniques.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle spray equipment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
