Crynodeb

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to assess any changes to service users needs and situations in real time, be a skilled multitasker and have the ability to complete all daily tasks with ease. It would be advantageous if you are already registered with Social Care Wales.
You will be provided a uniform and identification badge and will be expected to represent the company in a well presented and professional manner at all times.


Principle Duties:

1. The main duties will be set out in exact detail within the delivery care plan for each individual service user.
2. All duties carried out by (F.S.H.C.LTD) Domiciliary Worker Assistants are those not normally carried out by qualified nursing staff.
3. Provide the individual care required by each service user, making sure the service user retains as much of their dignity and independence as possible.
4. Assist service users with washing and toileting, dressing and undressing.
5. Assist service users who have limited mobility or physical disabilities, making the best use of aids provided.
6. Where necessary, assist in control of incontinence management providing comfort and dignity.
7. Care for service users who are temporarily unwell and those who are terminally ill.
8. Accompany service users on hospital visits or social support when required by the company.
9. Undertake any necessary laundry on behalf of the service user when required.
10. Make and change beds. Tidy rooms and do light cleaning for service users. Empty commodes if necessary.
11. Prepare and serve meals, assist service users with nutritional choices/assist eating/drinking when required.
12. Carry out any shopping/pension collections/medication ordering or collection requirements on behalf of the service users providing receipts and filling in any financial transaction forms for any purchases on behalf of the service user made.
13. For each service user complete a factual statement of services provided at the end of every visit on the daily log sheets provided by the company.
14. Report any undue circumstances or significant concerns in relation to the service user or their environment.
15. Observe and comply with all aspects of Health and Safety as stated in the company Staff Handbook.
16. Ensure that you always observe and comply with the published Social Care Wales Domiciliary Worker Codes of Practice.
17. Complete mandatory trainings and keep them up to date in line with company procedures.
18. Ensure correct use of call monitoring application.
