1 based in North at Abbey Hulton Family Hub

1 based in South at Blurton Family Hub

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team committed to delivering great outcomes for customers and the organisation.



The Housing Officer post is a vital role undertaking the tenancy management of a patch of dwellings.



The role ensures that tenants keep to their tenancy agreements, including payment of rent and recovery of rent arrears as well as ensuring that complaints of anti-social behaviour are dealt with and that the estates are maintained to a satisfactory condition.



The Housing Officer role has a flexible job description covering all aspects of tenancy management, however, these vacancies sit within the Rental Income Team focusing on the collection of rent and service charges by supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies and recovering rent arrears.



The applicant must posses:



· detailed knowledge, experience and understanding of housing management

· have experience in delivering high quality customer service, including experience of visiting customers in their homes

· interviewing and advising customers

· must be able to adapt to a changing environment and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
