An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pre-Operative Assessment Department at St George’s Hospital.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Reception and Booking team, supporting the delivery of high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery.
This is a Monday to Friday position, ideal for someone committed to providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome visitors to the Pre-Operative Assessment Department in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring access is limited to authorised individuals only.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries, directing queries and tasks to the appropriate team members as required.
• Accurately enter and update patient and departmental information using relevant computer systems.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments ahead of their planned surgical procedures.
• Manage appointment changes, including rescheduling patients as needed in line with service requirements.
• Communicate routine information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, staff, and other internal or external stakeholders.
