Description
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Housing Repairs Co-ordinators (Sc5). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that housing repairs and maintenance services are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate closely with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate repair requests and ensure that all work meets our high standards. This position requires strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills, as you will be the key point of contact for both tenants and service providers. The Housing Repairs Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing workloads, prioritizing tasks, and tracking the progress of repairs to promote timely resolution of issues. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the community by enhancing the living conditions of our residents through timely and responsive repair services. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining accurate records, producing reports, and providing excellent customer service to our tenants. Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all incoming housing repair requests from tenants.
Schedule repairs and maintenance work with contractors and internal teams.
Monitor and track the progress of ongoing repair work to ensure timely completion.
Communicate with tenants regarding the status of their repair requests and any necessary updates.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all housing repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, work orders, and communications.
Prepare reports on repair activities, contractor performance, and tenant satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience in property management, housing services, or a related field.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with tenants and contractors.
Ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts effectively in a customer service environment.
Knowledge of housing regulations, repair standards, and maintenance practices.
Proficient in using computer software for tracking repairs and maintaining records.
A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and promoting tenant satisfaction.
