Temporary Position with the Opportunity to Go Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a caring and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a modern, forward-thinking nursery in Bishops Stortford. This role is full-time, working 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position starts on a temporary basis, but if a permanent role is what you’re seeking, the nursery would be more than happy to welcome you to the team long-term.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–5. Key duties include:

• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

  
  

• Planning and delivering exciting activities in line with the EYFS

  
  

• Observing and recording children’s development and progress

  
  

• Building positive relationships with children and their families

  
  

• Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional growth

  
  

• Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety procedures are followed

  
  

• Working collaboratively with a friendly, supportive team

  
  What We’re Looking For

  To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare

    
    

  • A genuine passion for early education and child development

    
    

  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

    
    

  • A nurturing, proactive and positive approach
