Crynodeb
Essential: Good standard of general education including GCSE Maths and English grade C and above or equivalent. Level 2 qualification in Healthcare plus training and/or experience to Level 3 Evidence of recent further development / training Experience of working with marginalised people with complex presentations who may have substance use/homeless. Experience of working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs Experience of working with individuals in distress Experience of working with service users who present with risk. Understanding of mental health issues and how these impact on individuals function Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to listen effectively Ability to implement care plans for individuals with the support of others as appropriate. Ability to create innovative solutions to help empower service users. Ability to work unsupervised in a range of settings Ability to form positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers Willingness to make a positive contribution to improving the quality of life for people with mental health problems. Ability to provide practical support with daily living activities. Basic IT Skills A current driving license with business insurance and access to a car during the working day is essential Desirable: Experience working within rehabilitation services Experience working in the NHS. Experience working in a community setting Awareness of local services within the Pennine Care footprint. Knowledge of benefits/employment systems. An understanding of the mental health system.
