A lovely family based in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role involves all general nanny duties, along with light housekeeping and cooking responsibilities related solely to the children. The ideal candidate will be organised, nurturing, and confident in supporting the children's after-school routines. A driver is essential for this position. A valid paediatric first-aid qualification is also required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (8:00 pm on Fridays)
Duties include:
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children
Assisting with washing, dressing, and maintaining proper hygiene routines
Supporting the children with homework and other school-related tasks
Engaging them in after-school and recreational activities to promote physical and cognitive development
Planning and facilitating creative activities such as arts and crafts, as well as organising playtime at parks and playgrounds
Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings clean, organised, and tidy
Assisting with evening and bedtime routines, including storytime, to help them unwind
