What skills and experience we're looking for

Education and Qualifications -

• Hold GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
• First Aid Qualification or willingness to undertake training.

DESIRABLE -

Relevant administrative or business management qualification

Skills and Abilities -

• Able to work constructively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
• Able to work using initiative
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong IT skills including proficiency with office software and MIS systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

DESIRABLE -

Knowledge of school administrative processes and statutory requirements

Experience -

• Experience of working in an office environment, ideally within a school or education setting.
• Experience in using and managing a school MIS system (preferably SIMS)
• Experience managing or coordinating school trips or events

About the role: As our Office Administrator, you will be at the heart of our school’s operations. You’ll be part of the school office, support the leadership team, coordinate educational visits and school trips, act as first aider, upload policies, and oversee our MIS system. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has excellent administrative and organisational skills

· Is confident managing school trips and acting as our Educational Visits Coordinator

· Holds (or is willing to gain) a first aid qualification

· Has experience managing or using a school MIS system

· Can communicate effectively and work well under pressure
