What skills and experience we're looking for
Enhance Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Trust SENCO tosupport the continued improvement of SEND and Inclusive practices across the Trust.
The postholder will work under the direction of the Trust's SEND & Inclusion Lead and will provide direct support to SENCOs, school leaders and schools in relation to ensuring effective SEND leadership and practice. This will include a mix of mentoring, training, role modelling and through providing direct support and capacity to schools as a qualified SENCO.
The postholder will:
• Work with colleagues to ensure schools are statutorily compliant in relation to SEND
• Support the implementation of the Trust-Wide Strategy for SEND
• Promote the positive educational experience of pupils with SEND
• Raise standards in provision, learning and attainment
We are a successful and growing Church of England Multi-Academy Trust currently comprising of 17 primary academies and a Post 16 Creative and Performing Arts free school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring and highly motivated teacher and SENCO to join a team of experienced Trust leaders and to work with colleagues from across the Trust to impact directly on the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes for SEND pupils within our primary academies.
