Deputy Nurse Manager - Supernumerary
£24 per hour, 40 hours per week
Looking to step into a leadership role where your nursing expertise shapes the standard of care? This Deputy Nurse Manager position offers the opportunity to guide a dedicated team, influence best practice, and make every day count for residents who rely on compassionate, attentive support.
In this role, you’ll help lead a warm, person-centred care environment, working closely with the Home Manager to uphold outstanding clinical standards. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced RGN or RMN who enjoys blending hands-on clinical leadership with meaningful relationship-building. What We’re Looking For
- RGN Registered General Nurse (Adult) or RMN Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager
- Ability to understand and adhere to CQC standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage with service users and their families

Responsibilities
- Engage with service users to understand their needs and provide exceptional care
- Carrying out supervisions
- Maintain a good working knowledge of CQC standards
- Build and maintain working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and the staffing team
- Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home
