We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Curriculum Area Manager for Electrical and Carpentry at Eastleigh College. The information below provides more detail about the role.

Purpose:
- To assist the Curriculum Director in the management and review of the curriculum in accordance with College policies, including:
- To undertake a teaching programme and all aspects of the teaching and learning process (equating to 350 taught hours per annum), including:
- To act as a Course Leader for designated course(s)
- To participate in liaison activities associated with the programme area and those relating to the College provision:
- Develop and maintain professional competence in the post and in other duties performed on behalf of the Curriculum of the College
- Performance and People Management:
Skills/Experience:
- Experience in leading teams
- Experience in teaching the relevant subject area
- Excellent knowledge of recent initiatives in curriculum development and design
Qualifications:
- Grade C (or above) or equivalent English and Maths
- Level 3 qualification in the relevant area of expertise (Electrical & Carpentry)
- Level 5 Teaching qualification
- Relevant degree/and or appropriate level of professional qualifications
