Crynodeb
We are looking for highly committed practitioners to support, develop and implement our strategies for working with students and families to overcome barriers to learning. We are looking for someone who believes in building strong relationships with pupils and families and is willing to go the extra mile to support them in being successful, both in and outside of school.
The role is to provide exceptional care, support and guidance. You will be required to set high expectations for all pupils at Pencoedtre High School in all pastoral matters with responsibility for a specific year cohort.
You will assist with providing support and interventions to meet the pastoral and learning needs of pupils, alongside the Head of Year and the designated Assistant Headteacher. This is a varied role working closely with parents, carers, as well as the wider school staff adhering to the school’s behaviour procedures and policies to promote the welfare and protection of all students attending the school. The position demands high professional standards and experience of working with young people.
