Please review the attached Job Description and Person Specification for more details for this opportunity. Manage the relationship with the Lead Commissioner at a technical financial level and provide cover for the Assistant Director of Finance in this relationship at Operational level. Responsible for negotiations and responses to contractual challenges from Commissioners, and proactive in making changes to improve this process. Ensure that the Trust is compliant with the terms of the contract and where not help quantify the potential risks and liabilities. Production, review and update of contract finance schedules for specified contracts, ensuring inclusion of all contract variations and contract changes. Finance representation at specific contract negotiation meetings and subsequent contract performance monitoring meetings, leading on presentation of financial information and responsibility for resolution of financial queries. Overall responsibility for maintaining a central finance record for all sales and purchase agreements in collaboration with the Commissioning, Contracting and Business Development team, and acting as a focal point for all associated contact from the team.
