This is a rewarding opportunity to support service users with complex needs and mental health conditions, including those transitioning from CYP environments. You’ll bring your NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, your resilience, and your passion for person-centred care to a role where no two days are the same—and every day makes a difference.

- Supervising and supporting care staff
- Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of service users
- Responding to challenges with professionalism and empathy
- Engaging in community activities alongside service users

As a Senior Support worker you will have:
- Proven experience in mental health and complex needs care
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Leadership skills and a proactive approach
- A caring nature and willingness to support with personal hygiene
- Strong communication skills and a good sense of humour
- The ability to manage challenging behaviours with resilience and positivity

Felbrigg House is part of our Learning Disability and Autism division and provides a specialist residential service for men and women with a range of learning disabilities, including autism and sensory and communication impairments.This specialist service is designed for those individuals with a learning disability who require a high level of support to live within a community setting and will continue to require this longer term. Clients may be transitioning from children’s residential services, education, moving out of the family home. We are also experienced in successfully managing clients moving from services where their placements may have broken down or where their needs are no longer being met.
The aim of the service is to encourage individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently through a programme of active community engagement, developing meaningful social networks and developing robust coping strategies.
The house is an old rectory, situated in the Conservation Area of Dover, in Kent and has been completely renovated to provide a spacious beautiful character home, with two fully enclosed gardens and eleven spacious bedrooms with full en-suite facilities. There are a good range of shops and amenities a short walk away.
Dover has direct train access to London and good road links around the area.
