About the job:
SAC Consulting is one of the UK’s leading agricultural consultancies, uniquely positioned to support the sustainable growth and prosperity of agriculture and land-based businesses. We work across food supply chains to tackle the challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and food security.
We are seeking an Operations Administrator to join our Operations Team, working across SAC Consulting. Working in the SAC Consulting Hub, you will provide administrative, operational, project and technical support to colleagues and programmes, enabling efficient delivery of work and contributing to the smooth running of all internal and client-facing processes, including those relating to the delivery of programmes delivered on behalf of our clients.
The postholder will be based in the virtual Consulting Hub working alongside the Programmes, the Business Support Leader team, and the SAC Marketing team.
The primary activity will be the support of programmes such as the Farm Advisory Service (FAS), with the flexibility to assist other teams or colleagues across the wider Consulting Hub when required.
The role involves coordinated administrative and project support, working with minimal supervision and following established processes and templates to deliver a wide range of tasks. This includes maintaining accurate records, managing project and programme administration, coordinating input from colleagues and supporting wider colleagues in meeting quality, compliance and reporting requirements. A significant proportion of this work is billable activity associated with the delivery of a client programme, and therefore the ability to maintain accurate records relating to time and expense entries is important.
This is a full-time permanent post.
The post can be located at any SAC Consulting site though working from home up to 2 days per week will be considered following completion of initial training. Ayr or Edinburgh are preferred.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
To be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum qualification of SCQF Level 6 or above, relevant professional experience will also be considered.
A current full, clean driving licence is essential for this role as travel to SAC/SRUC locations across Scotland will be required.
Full details can be found in the Job Particulars document which you must read before applying for the role.
Eligibility for Sponsorship:
This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If you are a migrant worker, you will need to ensure you have an appropriate visa to evidence the necessary right to work in the UK.
