Contract: Full-time
The Opportunity:
We are recruiting on behalf of a trusted care provider for an experienced Deputy Manager to join their leadership team. In this role, you will support the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the home, delivering high-quality care, and achieving operational goals. You will assume full management responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager.
You will lead, mentor, and supervise care staff, supporting them in delivering excellent person-centred care. The role also involves assisting with pre-admission assessments, ensuring care plans and daily records are accurate and up to date, and maintaining strong communication with residents’ families and external organisations.
Reporting To: Home Manager
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or senior care leader
Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership and staff management skills
Ability to engage with residents to understand their needs and deliver outstanding care
Skilled in building positive relationships with families, staff, and external professionals
Commitment to involving residents and their families in care planning and evaluation
