A warm and well-established nursery in Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. The setting is conveniently located near the train station and is easily accessible for both public transport users and drivers, with parking available on site.
About the RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5. Your duties will include:

Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children

Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
-
Observing and assessing children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and planning next steps
-
Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development
-
Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare policies are followed consistently
-
Working collaboratively as part of a committed staff team
What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you must have:

A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification

A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

A proactive, caring and positive attitude
