Summary

The Opportunity
We are working with a leading international construction company to recruit an experienced Training Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about workforce development and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping training strategy on a major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities
As Training Manager, you will:

- Develop and deliver a comprehensive training framework to meet organisational and project needs.
- Conduct training needs analyses and design targeted learning solutions.
- Oversee technical, compliance, and professional development programmes across diverse teams.
- Partner with senior leadership, HR, and operational managers to ensure training supports workforce capability and succession planning.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Lead and mentor training coordinators and facilitators, fostering a culture of learning.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and accrediting bodies.

We are looking for someone who brings:

- Proven experience in a Training Manager or Learning & Development leadership role, ideally within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and competency frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training solutions in complex, high‑risk environments.
- Familiarity with UK construction sector regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Professional qualifications in Learning & Development, HR, or a related discipline (CIPD or equivalent desirable).
